A TEENAGE learner driver will have to retake his driving test after an empty car rolled down a hill from a Churchtown nursing home and crashed into him.

The Southport youngster, who was driving a black Renault Clio with ‘Lance’ emblazoned across it in grey and white letters, was passing his test up to the moment of impact.

He will now get a free retake from the DVLA after a silver Vauxhall Corsa, which had no driver, sped towards him from Fleetwood Hall nursing home and hit him.

When my Mum took her test (a long time ago) she pulled out of the test centre carpark and as she started to drive away passed a parked lorry, the lorry driver opened his door and my Mum hit it and ripped it cleanoff Embarrassed

The examiner made her continue with the exam after they exchanged insurance details, and it will be no surprise that she failed that test. Shocked

Just prior to my sisters driving test her instructor asked her to "drive straight over the roundabout". With the build up of nerves at this stage, she literally followed his instruction taking out the odd rose bed along the way.

Mmmm
I passed my test a log time ago  Tongue , but on my first test i was asked to park between two cars , so i handbraked the car and performed a perfect park between them , needless to say the examiner stoped the test straight away , his parting words were you need a rally driving course examiner not a road test  Lips Sealed
Do you remember those days colin ??

cheers rob
